This months Sephora Play! Box has to be one of my favorites yet! All of the products are great; I have either tried them and love them or I have been wanting to try them! This months theme is “Next-Gen Beauty,” and they packed some great products that can take on multiple jobs and use advanced formulas while incorporating updated ingredients. Here are the products I received:
Peter Thomas Roth – Hungarian Thermal Water Mineral-Rich Atomic Heat Mask
This heat mask uses Hungarian thermal water, botanicals, and modern technologies to nurture the skin. I love that this mask works with all skin types (normal, oily, dry, combination, sensitive) because although I consider my skin combination, it’s really unpredictable. Usually my skin has trouble with masks I have tried in the past, so I was eager to try it and see what all the hype was about. The consistency seems very thick once you squeeze it out of the tube, but a little bit of this product goes a long way. It smells great, too!
Nudestix – Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencil in Kiss
This lip pencil fits right into the new hybrid beauty trend! Obviously, from the name, it doubles as a lipstick, liner, and a blush. This has a really pretty, pigmented rosy hue that glides onto the skin like butter. It’s very easy to blend on the cheeks.
Tom Ford – Perfume in Black Orchid
Usually when I get perfume samples in any subscription box, I hate the scent. But this actually smells great. Fragrance Family: floral, orchid, lotus, sandalwood, patchouli, and black truffle.
Stellar – Brilliant Primer
I have never heard of this brand before, but this primer is said to be lightweight, hydrating, and illuminating. I haven’t used it yet, only swatched on my hand to get the feel, and it does go on silky smooth, and absorbs into the skin.
Clinique – Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly
I have used this before and loved it, so I was happy to recieve this sample until I’m able to purchase a full-size. This hydrating jelly locking in the moisture and shielding from pollutants. This always leaves my face feeling hydrated, fresh, and smooth.
Sephora – LashCraft Big Voume Mascara in Black
This mascara has the cutest packaging and I can’t wait to give it a try. It’s labeled as a full-volume mascara with a buildable formula, and coats the lashes in intense black color. Based on the reviews I have read, this mascara doesn’t cause many clumps, smudges, and flakes–thanks to nurturing jojoba oil.
My favorite sample from this box is definitley the Peter Thomas Roth heat mask and the Clinique hydrating jelly. Although I haven’t reviewed my most recent boxes on my blog, there are some photos on my instagram. Sephora has been on a role lately, and I am so glad I decided to subscribe. i hope you all are having a great week and thank you for reading!
